Biopsychosocial Aspects of Health and Disease, Volumes I and II
we are pleased to announce that we are accepting articles for publication in the following series of books (working titles):

This series will focus on current trends and developments in clinical research and practice in the fields related to health and disease, from perspectives of psychology, medicine, nursing, sociology and pedagogy.
The process for publication is as follows:
1) Your article must be submitted in standard academic/scientific English within the established deadlines.
2) Articles will be reviewed and considered for publication in the order received.
3) Your article will first be screened for appropriate use of English. If minor corrections are needed your article will proceed to the next step. If not, your article will be returned within 7 days of receipt for you to have it revised/corrected, and resubmitted within 2 weeks. Our editorial staff can provide you with this service at an additional nominal cost, individually established.
4) Your article will be reviewed for scientific value by two reviewers. The review process is double blinded (the reviewers do not know the name of the author and the author does not know the names of the reviewers)
5) Once accepted you must sign the agreement and send 50 euros (or 200 zł) processing fee. This fee includes processing and 3 free copies of the printed book.
Please follow our formatting criteria.
Authors in Poland need to follow the KBN criteria for accreditation. An article to be considered a chapter needs to have 20,000 characters including spaces for authors affiliated with medical institutions, 40,000 for those affiliated with social sciences and humanities.(Link to document)

All articles that meet the formal criteria will be considered. The articles of high scientific value which obtain positive reviewers' recommendations will be selected for publication.

Rozpoczynamy przyjmowanie artykułów po angielsku do publikacji w serii monografii:

Seria monografii jest związana tematycznie z najnowszymi kierunkami badań i osiągnięciami w badaniach klinicznych związanych z obszarem zdrowia i choroby z perspektywy psychologii, medycyny, pielęgniarstwa, socjologii i pedagogiki.
Proces wydawniczy przebiegać będzie w następujący sposób:
1. Państwa artykuł, napisany w standardowym naukowym języku angielskim zostaje nadesłany
w ustalonym terminie.
2. Artykuły zostaną zrecenzowane i rozpatrzone pod kątem publikacji według kolejności zgłoszeń.
3. Państwa artykuł zostanie sprawdzony pod względem prawidłowego użycia języka angielskiego. Jeżeli artykuł wymaga niewielkiej korekty, zostaje przekazany do następnego etapu procesu wydawniczego. Jeżeli błędów jest więcej, artykuł zostanie zwrócony w ciągu 7 dni do poprawy i musi zostać ponownie zgłoszony w przeciągu 2 tygodni.
4. Nasz zespół redakcyjny może zaoferować Państwu proces korekty językowej za dodatkową opłatą, ustaloną indywidualnie.
5. Państwa artykuł zostanie zrecenzowany pod względem naukowym przez 2 recenzentów. Proces recenzji jest podwójnie utajniony: Recenzentom nie są udostępnione dane Autora, Autorowi nie są udostępnione dane Recenzentów.
6. Po zaakceptowaniu artykułu uiszczają Państwo opłatę 200 zł, która pokrywa koszty procesu redakcyjnego i 3 egzemplarzy autorskich monografii.
Tekst powinien zostać sformatowany według następujących zasad.
Autorom w Polsce, przypominamy, że aby uzyskać punkty KBN za rozdział w książce, musi on mieć 20 000 znaków ze spacjami dla autorów rozliczających się w grupie nauk medycznych i 40.000 znaków dla utorów rozliczających się w grupie nauk społecznych i humanistycznych. (link do dokumentu)

Przy korespondencji prosimy o posługiwanie się językiem angielskim.
Zostaną wzięte pod uwagę wszystkie artykuły, które spełniają kryteria formalne. Artykuły o wysokiej wartości naukowej potwierdzonej przez recenzentów zostaną wybrane do publikacji.
